IPNO “Oh, Freedom!” Gala supports our mission to free the wrongly convicted and unjustly sentenced.

The celebration begins with a Patron Party from 5:00pm – 6:30pm, followed by a Gala with our clients and their families from 6:30pm – 9:30pm. Former IPNO client Calvin Duncan and social justice advocate Sophie Cull will join our Patron Party to discuss their new book, The Jailhouse Lawyer, which chronicles Calvin’s over 28 years of wrongful incarceration.

We will also be presenting our John Thompson Award For Courage & Justice to The Historic New Orleans Collection for their work on the “Captive State: Louisiana and the Making of Mass Incarceration” exhibition. This remarkable and unforgettable exhibition will continue to educate the public about mass incarceration in Louisiana through the publication entitled, Captive State, which will be released this Fall. More details will be available at the Gala.

Join us for an extraordinary evening at a new location, The Terminal at the Lakefront Airport, plus premiere local cuisine, open bar, a silent auction, and some exciting surprises!

See you you there!
